The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.
Today, I have finally completed and launched the water project for a family in Tanji Sancheba. It was a huge struggle, so much challenges, so many stumbling blocks along the road but in the end it all came through thanks to my generous donors who donated and donated generously without a second thought. The donation came through an amazing and compassionate man based in the Netherlands called Jermaine and our connection was coordinated thanks to my generous dad, Arjan Koopmans. And so today, more than 700 inhabitants of this catchment area will have access to clean drinking water and equally for other home chores.
I have always said this and will it again that, the best way of giving out charity from your wealth or inheritance is by building a water source for either a whole community or family; apparently that source will serve them for long and it’s a lifelong project.
My beliefs are that good people who work hard get their rewards. There will be struggle at times and hurdles along the way – life throws up all sorts – but in the end, you will prevail if you stick to the right path.
In light of the above, I’d like to seize this opportunity in thanking the donor who’d provide the funds in honour of MAAIJEN FAMILY and most importantly for his trust vested in me for all his funds he worked for ages.
