“One way to tackle challenges is to start at the fundamentals, which is to ensure that every child in Africa has access to the type of education that will transform their lives”.

Investing into education yields the best interest ever and yet it benefits the future generations to come.
Since the emergence of Covid-19 all schools in The Gambia has apparently been closed up by the government for safety reasons.
Since then, both students and their teachers have stayed put at home doing nothing constructive; it has taken months, weeks and days but yet we haven’t heard from the government as to when and how schools will reopen in The Gambia and sessions resume in a normal phase. So many contact hours have been lost; thus, creating a huge gap for students in particular.

Notwithstanding, it’s better late than never as it seems reopening of schools gets imminent and everything will certainly pick up momentum again.

So many parents and guardians will be getting ready to hear a date is been announced for the reopening, and then, they will start purchasing all the basic learning necessities for their children to go to school again. But the question now is, how about the children coming from the underprivileged families whose parents or guardians can’t afford for them? I feel I can stand and speak vividly on their behalf, that is, I want to ask for support from anyone out there reading this heart-touching post to kindly deep into your pocket and donate something little for the aforementioned group of students! Sharing is caring and nothing is too small once is coming all clear from your heart!

On that note, I’m urging all philanthropist, donors and institutions to help support this worthy cause. Some of the materials that you can donate are; exercise books, backpacks, pens, pencils, shoes and any other learning necessities that you deem it necessary to donate. You can only donate in cash and I’ll personally buy the materials here in the local market.

NOTE: Photos and receipts will be clearly shown as evidence to the purchase materials.

If anyone is interested to support, please send me a private message for more information!

However small the action, you can help to change the world for the better. We can all contribute to the change by lending a helping hand, especially to the least fortunate members of our society. So be among the change.
