Kaddy and the needy family in Salanding ( Tanji).

As a girls’ education is my ultimate pride, I’m cognizant of the factors that affects girls from accessing and staying in school. One of the main factors which is poverty and early marriage.

I’m also cognizant that a hungry child will not learn. Hence, there is a girl that is currently being sponsored that I provide extra support for feeding at home and in school.

One of my compassionate friend in Scotland deemed it necessary to support her and the family. They live in a very horrible condition as the father is visually impaired, and the mother can’t work all alone to provide for the family singlehandedly. An amount of money was handed over to the father to be used to support the family’s daily feeding, but as for the girl’s educational needs I personally takes care of that.

I’m grateful to the sponsor for helping this family. Nonetheless, I’m still seeking for support for them to help the mother set-up a small canteen were she sells food stuffs to help the family ( sustainability).

With a little financial support the family can start up a micro-business from which they can use to help themselves on a daily basis. So, with just 200 Euros the family can start up a life saving business. Do you want to offer them a chance please?
