We stay motivated and amazed at what young girls are capable of doing. We keep on saying “Never underestimate the power that is within you, you are bigger than you think, you have the power and ability to create, and to innovate”.
The power and spirit in the girl child is more than what we could’ve even imagined, so let’s give them the chance to showcase their individual brilliance.
WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM VOLUNTEERS
1. The volunteers are expected to serve the school or community in any area they think might be helpful to us. So alongside they will be working with the kids to gain experience from one another.
- The minimum amount of days varies that is; it either havs to be two weeks, three weeks or even one month. At some point your work will be so helpful to us and you deemed it necessary to leave for home, I can plead on you to stay for further days.
- Their task will be any skills/ work they think they can do to help be it in the classroom in collaboration with an other teacher or within the community. There are also sporting games some kids are interesting in and if you’re someone good in tennis, judo, volleyball and so on then it will be helpful and needed.
Well, the fact is I’m just a starter in this and will need experience and ideas from people out there reading my post who have the manpower and human experience in volunteering.
What’s your suggestion and way forward?
